The challenge
Back in 1964, Netafim revolutionised the agricultural industry by inventing drip irrigation – a system that helps farmers grow more crops with less water.

Since then, the company had grown into a multi-million dollar business, operating in over 100 countries and offering all kinds of products. Yet despite technical prowess the future lay in developing more holistic solutions for customers and investors.

With increased competition from more well known global players, Netafim management needed to agree on a story that could inspire and motivate internal and external audiences.

The thinking
We spent time with the team in Tel Aviv to get to the bottom of what had made them so successful.

Beyond the plastic pipes and greenhouse panels lay an incredible story about efficiency. With increasing pressure on the world’s resources and demand for food production, we knew that this story could get the attention of farmers and investors alike.

We summarised the idea as ‘Helping the world grow more with less’, positioning Netafim as experts in agricultural efficiency. This philosophy gave them a simple way to talk about all their different products and services (not just drip irrigation), and inspired the creative direction of the new identity.

The outcome
We created a distinctive new identity with information graphics, bold primary colours and succinct wording.

The new identity made sure Netafim would stand out in their industry, without losing their practical, professional attitude.

But more importantly, it gave them a compelling sustainability story that makes sense not only for the environment, but for business too.
