Chinese fashion heads west!
Tuesday saw a delegation from China retail fashion industry come to Figtree in London for a working session on growing a global fashion brand.
Along with hip and happening fashion designer Tim Soar and retail architect Alison Cardy from HMKM, senior Figs shared their knowledge and learnings with the big entrepreneurial crowd.
Organised by Jeff Banks and former Debenhams boss Rob Templeman, the audience included some of the leading Chinese retail fashion players.
'A really nice bunch of extraordinary business and brand leaders who are asking all the right questions about going global. We are looking forward to helping them navigate future brand growth outside of China', said Simon Myers.
The conversations carried on at at dinner hosted by the Chinese Embassy the same night, where the baijiu was in refreshingly small supply.
