Cleantech in the House

After a hearty chicken pot pie and salad for lunch, the Figs hunkered down for a good session on sustainability. Our guest for the day was Cleantech EMEA Managing Director Richard Youngman. Sharp, focused and precise, Richard separated fact from fiction and gave the Figs a clear picture on the world of clean technologies and sustainability. It seems the real winners are Asian companies who are out-investing their Western counterparts by a significant margin. Perhaps now's the time to reevaluate our perceptions of 'green' and recognise that clean technologies are at the heart of a new economy, one that demands shared value as much as it does shareholder return.
